LegionBet KYC Rejected: Common Reasons and Fixes
Having your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification rejected at an online casino like LegionBet can be a frustrating roadblock, preventing you from withdrawing your winnings. This guide walks you through the most common reasons for rejection and provides clear, actionable steps to fix the issue and get your account verified successfully.
Why LegionBet Requires KYC Verification
Like all licensed UK gambling operators, LegionBet casino is legally obligated to verify the identity of its players. This process, known as KYC, is not a personal slight but a mandatory requirement from the UK Gambling Commission. It serves three main purposes: to prevent underage gambling, to stop money laundering and fraud, and to ensure responsible gambling limits are effective. The process typically begins when you request your first withdrawal and usually takes 24-48 hours to complete, provided your documents are in order.
Common Reasons for KYC Rejection at LegionBet
Most rejections are not permanent and are caused by simple, fixable errors. Understanding the common pitfalls is the first step toward a resolution. Here are the primary reasons a LegionBet KYC check might fail:
- Blurry or Unreadable Documents: Photos or scans that are out of focus, have glare, or are cropped incorrectly.
- Mismatched Information: The name, address, or date of birth on your documents does not exactly match the details you registered with.
- Expired Documents: Submitting a driver’s licence or passport that is no longer valid.
- Insufficient Proof of Address: Providing a document that is older than three months or is not from an accepted issuer (e.g., a handwritten bill).
- Incomplete Documents: Forgetting to photograph the back of a driving licence or all pages of a bank statement.
Accepted KYC Documents at LegionBet
To avoid rejection, you must provide the correct types of documents. LegionBet will typically request two items: one for proof of identity (POI) and one for proof of address (POA). The table below outlines what is and isn’t accepted.
| Document Type | Accepted Examples | Not Accepted |

| Payment Method Verification | Clear photo of the front of your debit card (with middle digits and CVV obscured) | Screenshot of a digital wallet app |
Step-by-Step Guide to Fix a Rejected KYC
If you receive a rejection email, don’t panic. Follow these steps to resolve the issue promptly.
- Read the Rejection Email Carefully: LegionBet will specify the reason for rejection. It might be as simple as needing a clearer image.
- Gather Correct Documents: Refer to the table above and ensure your documents are valid, recent, and clear.
- Resubmit Your Documents: Log into your LegionBet account, navigate to the verification section, and upload new, high-quality images. Ensure all edges are visible and there is no glare.
- Double-Check Details: Before submitting, verify that your registered name exactly matches your documents (e.g., including middle names).

After resubmitting, allow another 24-48 hours for the team to review your application. Persistence with correct documentation almost always leads to success.
How KYC Affects Bonuses and Withdrawals
It’s crucial to understand that you cannot withdraw funds until your account is fully verified. This policy also impacts bonuses. For instance, any wagering requirements you complete or winnings you accumulate from a LegionBet bonus or LegionBet free spins will be locked until verification is passed. Furthermore, attempting to use a LegionBet promo code without intending to verify your account is against terms of service. While a LegionBet no deposit offer might get you playing, you will still need to complete KYC to withdraw any winnings derived from it. The process is a non-negotiable part of licensed, secure online gambling.
Conclusion: A Smooth Path to Verification
A KYC rejection at LegionBet is usually a minor setback. By providing clear, valid, and matching documents the first time, you can ensure a swift verification process. Remember, this security measure protects you as a player, safeguarding your account and funds. By following this guide, you can quickly resolve any issues and get back to enjoying your gaming experience with peace of mind.
